HLStats can be translated into your language. The main language is english and set to default. This is also the case if a translation is still missing in the new language file. Which languages are currently available can be found here. Every language file will show up as an entry in the HLStats -> Admin -> Options section. There you can set the default language for your installation. The user has still the abillity to change the language for its browsing session. To create a new language file just copy the de.ini.php file to eg. ru.ini.php (russian) or fr.ini.php (french). As an example we want to create the language for italy. First we copy the de.ini.php file to it.ini.php. The first two chars are the language code. A list of all available language codes is available here. HLStats uses the ISO 639-1 Code (the one with the two chars) Then we open this file with an editor which supports the UTF-8 encoding. All the editing have to be done and safed in the UTF-8 encoding. Otherwise the language file is not valid. The translation is very simple. Each line represents a translation of the left string. The left string is the base string which is used in the code and the right string is the translation. Base string = Translation Show people this person has killed = Zeige Spieler die diese Person mindestens It is important that each line exists of the left and the right side and the = between. Otherwise the translation file is not valid. This way you can create your own translation and can submit it at the forums. If you are luky your translation will be included in the next release.
