`error: src refspec master does not match any.`

Sollte so eine Meldung kommen wenn man gerade ein Repository in Kombination mit [gitosis](http://scie.nti.st/2007/11/14/hosting-git-repositories-the-easy-and-secure-way) erstellt hat, dann "löst" man das Problem mit:

`git commit --allow-empty`

Zumindest ging es bei mir damit.
